As you are aware, there are confirmed cases of COVID-19 (coronavirus) and deaths in the United States and we are dedicated to educating our employees to help reduce the spread of infection in our stores and communities.
We will be following the suggested guidelines put forth by the CDC (The Center for Disease Control) that include:
- Washing your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
- Using sanitizing gel
- The proper way to cover a cough or sneeze
- Cleaning and disinfecting objects and surfaces
- Avoiding close contact with people who are sick and staying at home away from others if you are sick
In addition to these and other measures, we are also encouraging them to wear plastic or vinyl gloves which should be changed often.
We have sent the following information regarding COVID-19 to each store and they have it posted inside.
We encourage you to read it and also visit the Center for Disease Control website at www.cdc.gov.
