I’ve got some really exciting news to share with you!
We’ve launched our new online ordering and curbside delivery program at two stores in Texas. We’ve been thinking of getting into online delivery for a while and COVID-19 was the motivation we needed to provide our customers with a safe distancing option. The fact that we were able to build the program from scratch and activate it in less than two months is amazing. Congratulations and thank you to the marketing, operations, and support teams that made it happen.
We first rolled out the program at Store 115 in Krum two weeks ago. Since that time, the Mayor of Krum visited our store and said “Krum has always appreciated the service your business provides for us all and how it has become an integral part of our community”. Thank you Mayor!
Our second test store is Store 401 in Ponder and it went live yesterday. We are particularly excited about the test at 401 because they have a kitchen and a strong made-to-order food program. Soon, we are going to be offering items from the menu for to-go orders and curbside delivery. It should be a great addition to the dining options in Ponder.
We will be rolling out the program to other stores over the next couple of weeks and we hope to follow shortly with a home delivery service – which is still in the works. I’ll keep you posted as to how things develop.
